A weekly record of worthwhile shares in robotics and AI.

About this series: I’m a robotics PhD student at HKUST researching robot learning and embodied AI. I share learning notes, tool discoveries, and industry observations here.

Before returned to academia, I had 4 years in the software industry. Email me to talk robotics, startups, or joint research opportunities.

Starting last week, I experimented with a “weekly newsletter” style. However, I found that it felt like it was missing something - a personal touch, or a trace of my own existence in this world.

Meanwhile, I was inspired by Mitchell Hashimoto to write a blog using my own words. My previous plan was simply to collect and share robotics news with others, but that process lacked a sense of self-awareness. I feel that by writing and documenting my own journey, I am leaving a unique trace in this world, especially in the era of AI agent where generic writing and social media content are cheap and easy to produce.

Because of this, I have decided to swap back to my previous writing style: documenting what I actually experience and learned.
