A Bold Move

This week, I made a very bold and risky move. Although I trust the power of pretraining, I still am a bit nervous about whether the outcome will be worth it with the ICRA deadline so close.

I decided to change my state and action schema to align with the DROID as closely as possible. It sounded trivial at first since I already use the Franka Research 3 as my robot, but it actually is not.

To be honest, there are quite a few minor details hidden beneath the surface. I will elaborate on my findings in my next blog post.

Windsurfing

After a super busy and intense week, I felt I deserved a good windsurfing session!

This was the first time I went all the way down to the southernmost part of Hong Kong: Stanley Main Beach Water Sports Center. After finishing the session, I really appreciate the ease and comfort provided by the facilities back at HKUST… It was so tired to get all things done… Especially pull off the mast jammed with sand🫣.
